Helping the community around Wasilla Alaska

We are pleased to be able to donate and provide support to the MyHouse organization. MyHouse helps homeless youth in our community.

From MyHouse:
We offer a hot supper from 3-4pm every day for any homeless youth age 14-24 who are hungry. This is available to both clients and non-clients with no strings attached. It is staffed by volunteers who both cook and join clients for a meal, visiting and sharing.

Case management services are offered on a first-come, first served basis, and are a “hand up not a hand out”, meaning that clients will have a plan for goals and the expectation that they will work their plan and gain forward progress with support from staff. MY House Case Management offers food, clothing, shower and laundry services, employment services, public health care, mediation services, help with legal issues and support and referral for mental health and substance abuse treatment.

Northern Edge Physical Therapy is fortunate to be able to donate to the Wasilla Food Pantry.

The mission of the Mat-Su Food Bank is “To provided persons who reside in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley with needed supplemental food supplies.  Mat-Su Food Bank distributes goods to its clients in manner which gives dignity to all.”
