UPDATED COVID RESPONSE

July 29th, 2021

Northern Edge Physical Therapy realizes the health and wellness of our clients and caregivers is important to creating a healing environment.  We strive to provide a welcoming and supportive experience for those choosing in-person therapy.  We remain focused on our primary goal to get clients results with resolving pain and recovering from injury or surgery.  With regard to recent recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and in abidance with current guidelines issued by the Alaska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) we have established the following protocols:

  • We highly encourage vaccination for the safety of our community and clinic.

  • If a client or staff member is experiencing any symptoms possibly related to COVID-19, they will be advised to stay or return home and contact their physician.

  • All staff will exercise an abundance of hand washing and extensive cleaning of treatment areas and equipment.

  • You are encouraged to wear a mask or face shield during in-person therapy if you are not vaccinated.

Please limit the number of people who accompany you to your appointments, unless they are necessary for transportation or assistance. If for any reason you are not feeling well, please contact the clinic and we will be happy to reschedule your appointment.

To help prevent spread of the virus:

  • Get vaccinated

  • Avoid contact with people experiencing symptoms

  • Maintain good health and wellness

  • Stay isolated when you are sick

  • If you do not feel comfortable participating in in-person therapy, our clinic is offering telerehab services so that you can easily connect with one of our licensed therapists through web-based technology that is HIPAA compliant.
