Jamie is a born and raised Alaskan who recently moved back home after living in Washington for 10 years. After taking one Barre class in Bellingham, she fell in love and became an instructor as soon as she could. She has been teaching Barre for over four years now. Jamie loves sharing her passion for fitness with clients and seeing the way lives are changed, and in turn how that impacts the community. Jamie believes in a Barre lifestyle which embodies the concept of finding balance– body, mind and soul. Exercise to her isn’t a quick fix — it’s a piece of healthy living. She loves helping clients by modifying the exercises to their needs so they become more in tune with their bodies and can achieve their personal goals. Jamie has recently started her training to become a certified Yoga Instructor so that she can bring that experience & education into her teaching.
Halie Montanez earned her Registered Yoga Teacher 200 hour training certification in 2015. She is also certified in Hatha Yoga, which is alignment based yoga and is registered with Yoga Alliance. Halie has over 200 hours of teaching experience and is continuing her education with ongoing workshops and seminars. Halie has been practicing Barre for over a year and a half and quickly saw what an impact it could have on a person’s life. This led her to pursue teaching Barre in 2018. Halie likes to bring joy and positivity to every class to help you leave class feeling better than when you walked in. She believes fitness is important due to the impact it has on the rest of your life. Whatever a person likes doing, they tend to enjoy it more when they feel fit, strong, and have a positive mindset. When Halie isn’t at the studio you can find her hiking in the mountains with her husband and dog.
